After Hour Quote is available from 8:00am to 9:30am and from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  To get an After Hour Quote, we have a variety of sources to choose from.  In order to buy or sell stock during after hours, you will need to have a broker which allows you to trade during after hours.

The first place to find an after hour quote is through your own online broker.  There should give you the most accurate quotes available.  If you can’t find quotes there, you should then try yahoo finance.  Also on NASDAQ’s website you can find after hour quotes for stocks that are listed on the NASDAQ.

One should be aware that trading volume during after hours can be thin, so use limit orders and be careful not to get too caught up in fast moves during after hours.  Often a company will announce their earnings or a big news event during after hours which can cause the stock be very volatile.
